Voted Best Gym in Indianapolis, IN for 2007 A-List awards, O’Fit specializes in performance therapy and fitness. O’Fit services are a critical component of the fitness continuim that helps individuals prevent injury,accelerate injury recovery and improve fitness & performance.

Utilizing our OFITS© method, individualized programs are customized to improve flexibility, lose weight, increase strength &cardio, improve core stability and decrease pain. Our uniqe approach will help you achieve maximum health & fitness, accelerate injury recovery and optimize sports performance. We progress you effeciently and effectively, and help you reach full potential by integrating therapeutic exercises with functional exercises. Regardless of where you are in the fitness continuim, we can guide you through the process with excellent results.

OUR METHOD
We offer a range of exercise programs to meet our clients needs. Each client starts with the OFITS© comprehensive assessment. After the assessment the client can choose from either our home program, semi-private training, one-on-one training programs, or classes. Once the assessment is completed and the training program selected individuals start their exercise program in a designated exercise tract. Clients will be placed in one of our three exercise tracts; injury recovery,fitness or sports performance to being their exercise journey.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Is O’Fit a physical therapy or fitness facility?

We are a fitness studio and we specialize in helping individuals either maximize their fitness, speed up injury recovery, or improve sports performance.

Does insurance cover your services?
No. We are a fee based facility. However, you may be able to use your health savings account (HSA). Contact your HSA provider to find out if our services are covered.

Do I need a doctors referral?

No. Since we are a fitness studio you do not need a referral. However, we welcome the opportunity to speak with your physician about your exercise program.

Do I need to be injured to use your services?
No. While we specialize in helping those who are injured, our services include fitness and sport performance. We incorporate therapeutic exercises with functional exercises to provide a safe and effective program. This approach helps to prevent injuries, maximize exercise and helps those who are injured recover quicker.

Do I need to sign up for a package?
No. We have a wide range of programs. Many clients come to us for an initial comprehensive assessment and we create a home program for them to do on their own. We also have clients who work out with us 3x per week for years.

Staff

Twins, Tom Jennings and Ceci Jennings started O’Fit in 2004. Born and raised in Rensselaer, Indiana they both were involved with sports from their early childhood years. Cecile continues to train for marathons and has a great deal of experience in personal training and nutrition. Tom enjoys competing in triathlons and has 20 years of sports medicine experience.

Owner
Tom earned his undergraduate degree from Butler in 1990, and graduate degree from Temple University in Philadelphia in 1992. He is a licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer and NASM- Performance Enhancement Specialist. He is also a member of ACSM (American college of sports medicine) and the NATA (National Athletic Trainers Association).

Prior to creating O’Fit, Tom was the Assistant Athletic Trainer for 6 seasons with the Indiana Pacers. Before working with the Pacers, Tom spent three years at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, as the Men’s Head Basketball Athletic Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach. At the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Tom volunteered as an Athletic Trainer in the Basketball venue.

Tom resides in Indianapolis with his wife and three daughters.

General Manager/ Director of Fitness
Cecile Jennings brings over 15 years of fitness experience to O’Fit. She is responsible for the implementation and development of the personal training and pilates programs. During her career she worked in various health clubs, universities and most recently owned and operated her own personal training business.

Cecile is an accomplished athlete, swimming competitively for 16 years. While in high school she competed at the Indiana State Championships four years in a row. Additionally, she completed 7 marathons and multiple mini-marathons. She remains active by training for marathons, practicing yoga and pilates.

Cecile earned her Bachelors degree from Butler University in 1990. She is an adjunct instructor at Butler University and is certified with the American Council on Exercise (ACE), Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant(AFP), and IMX pilates floor and reformer certified.

Ceci spends her spare time being super-aunt to her 16 nieces and nephews.
